Laws Regulations Codes; A Compilation of All Statues, Executive orders, Regulations, Official Interpretations, Decisions, Approved Codes, Etc., including Supplement Service to Dec. 31, 1933 Washington, D.C. Federal Codes, Inc. 1933 Cloth Good No Jacket 413 pp + v. The National Recovery Administration was established on June 16, 1933, by Pres. Roosevelt to try to ameliorate the effects of the depression sweeping the country and to try to calm everyone's nerves by "doing something" . This book was put out by the government as a handy compilation of regulations so business people and administrators could find all the rules in one place rather than having to chase down the over 500 individual booklets issued. It covers The National Industrial REcovery Act and Administration; Codes of Fair Competition; The President's Reemployment Agreement (miscalled the "Blanket Code"); Substituted provisions of President's Reemployment Agreement approved for certain industries; Regulation of Petroleum Industry. Very scarce. Blue cloth cover with gilt is faded and somewhat soiled, spine gilt is just legible. Dewey #s on spine, library mark on edges and fep, no other library marks. Spine minor fraying, interior clean. Price:
